SAINT goes online for fresh faces

Eager to scout the fashion industry's next major stars, SAINT International activated its Faces of Summer online global search last month, and already has been sifting through thousands of entries from aspiring models across the world.

"We've received an overwhelming response that far exceeds the number of any previous search we've done," said SAINT's CEO Deiwght Peters.

"Our social media and email inboxes have been inundated with a deluge of submissions from not only here in Jamaica, but the wider Caribbean too, as well as Africa, North America, and even Europe."

Peters said he is thrilled by both the volume and quality of the model hopefuls who have been reaching out thus far.

"The strength of the SAINT name, which is now 23 years old, coupled with the stellar industry achievements of our Jamaican stars Kai Newman, Tami Williams, Naki Depass, Brad Allen, Brit Knight, Romaine Dixon and Winston Lawrence, and also our African stars, Tomiwa, Aworo Mayowa, David Adebola and Gedeon Kit have cemented the agency's brand recognition in the furthest corners of the world," he said.

SAINT's models have starred in advertising campaigns for some of the world's biggest brands and labels, such as Adidas, Balenciaga, Calvin Klein, Dior, Dolce & Gabanna, Fenty Beauty, Gucci, Maybelline, Prada and Ralph Lauren.

Interested model applicants are required to submit a 30-second video introducing themselves as well as eight photos, which should include facial close-ups (facing forward, to the left and to the right) and full-length shots taken outside in natural light.

Males should be 15 to 25 years of age and between 6 feet and 6 feet 3 inches in height, while female counterparts are required to be 5 feet 8 inches to 6 feet tall and age between 15 and 25 years old.
