Hordley Cross main road in St Thomas impassable due to flood

Motorists travelling along sections of the Hordley Crossing main road in St Thomas towards Portland are being advised that the roadway is now impassable due to flooding.

The police say the affected areas include Wheelersfield, Bath, Johnson Mountain, Bachelor Hall and Springfield Bank districts.

As a result, members of the public are being urged to avoid these sections of the road and use the Port Morant to Golden Grove roadway as an alternative route until conditions improve.
