Lady Da Flame brings ‘Summer’ heat

Recording artiste Lady Da Flame is embracing the season with the release of her latest single, Summer, now streaming on all major digital platforms.

Produced by Rawborn Productions, the high-energy track blends dancehall with island and reggaeton influences, powered by pulsating drums, booming basslines and an infectious rhythm that captures the carefree spirit of summer. Designed as the perfect soundtrack for beach parties, festivals, road trips and island celebrations, the song delivers an upbeat, feel-good vibe.

Lady Da Flame said the inspiration behind the single was to create an anthem that listeners could instantly connect with.

“My inspiration for the track was simple — we wanted a new fun song for the season, which is summer. I want fans to enjoy it and have fun. I think people will relate to the song and also enjoy the ‘sick’ beat it’s on. Summer songs are important because they capture the mood and the vibes of the season,” she said.

The entertainer explained that while Summer incorporates island and reggaeton elements, its roots remain firmly planted in dancehall.

“It has a dancehall feel, with island and reggaeton vibes that all stem from dancehall,” she added.

According to the artiste, the song’s driving percussion and heavy basslines are intended to keep listeners moving, while its vibrant energy evokes images of sunshine, fast cars, parties and adventurous island living.

The release follows a busy and successful period for Lady Da Flame, whose presence on the dancehall and reggae scene continues to grow.

Earlier this year, she performed before thousands at a Mother’s Day concert at UBS Arena, sharing the stage with Beres Hammond, Stephanie Mills and Romain Virgo. The performance highlighted her commanding stage presence, while introducing her music to an even broader audience.

She also honoured mothers with the heartfelt single Mama, which resonated with fans and showcased her versatility as both a vocalist and songwriter.
