Woman charged after allegedly pelting 60-year-old neighbour with stones
A 60-year-old man reportedly ended up with injuries to his head and ear after a dispute over a water pipe allegedly turned into a stone-throwing attack in Glengoffe, St Catherine, yesterday.
Police have since arrested and charged 51-year-old labourer Aeisa Soar of Glengoffe District in connection with the incident.
Soar has been charged with stone throwing and assault occasioning bodily harm.
Reports from the Glengoffe police are that about 2 p.m. on August 19, the complainant went to turn on a water pipe at his home when he was allegedly attacked by his neighbour.
Soar is accused of hurling stones at the man, striking him and causing injuries to his head and ear.
The matter was reported to the police, and an investigation was launched.
Soar was subsequently arrested and charged.
